Plato’s Play-Dough

Meet Plato the Gnome.

Like most gnomes, Plato loves to play.

He runs in the grass.

He colors and draws.

He sings and he dances.

On Plato’s 5th birthday, he receives a new gift: Play- Dough.

“Have fun with it.” Says his mom.

Plato is so excited to play with his Play- Dough.

He sets up a whole world of Play-Dough shapes.

He makes circles.

He makes squares.

He makes triangles.

He puts some of these shapes together to form little Play-Dough gnomes.

He makes a Play-Dough Plato.

He makes Play-Dough friends.

He makes Play-Dough candy and toys.

As Plato grows over the years, so does his Play-Dough world.

And on his 11th birthday, Plato wakes up to the best gift.

His Play-Dough gnomes have come to life.

They can walk.

They can talk.

And they are throwing Plato a birthday party.

Plato loves seeing his years of creation come to life.

They are all so happy to come to life.

“Thank you for creating us, Plato.” exclaim the gnomes.

Plato spends a couple years creating with his Play-Dough world.

They give him ideas and he brings them to life.

As time goes on, Plato starts creating these things in his real life.

A gnome girlfriend.

A cotton candy tree.

A grass cottage away from his mom.

A couple years go by without Plato seeing his Play-Dough world.

When he gets lost in his real world, he goes back home to see his mom.

He checks in on his Play-Dough gnomes to find they are at arguing with each other.

“Gnome, I’m the best.”

“Gnommmmme, I’m the best.”

They stop as they see Plato sit down next to them.

Everything is quiet.

Plato speaks, “You have forgotten. You are all Play-Dough. No shape or color is better than another. You all come from the same place.”

They know he is right.

Plato has an idea.

He makes each of them a gift.

He hands it to them one by one.

Their very own Play-Dough set
